This is Ewood Bridge, the neglected remains of Haslingden FC, then Stand Athletic. Spotted from the East Lancashire Railway by my mate Colin. That’s a revived steam line from Bury to Rawtenstall [ pronounced Rotten-stall ] and a great day out for the kiddies and lovely Lancahire low hills scenery for the grown-ups.
