I don’t know how many books and Tv programmes have been made about the tragic Munich air crash - 6th February 1958 - but it must run into scores. A score is twenty and it’s a word that is little used these days.

A new drama-documentary in the forthcoming BBC2 drama series. It’s called United, and it’s got that bloke who used to be a Doctor Who in it. Somehow I get bit uneasy about another re-working of a painful story. But then again I’ll be watching when it gets a transmission, and no doubt recording it to be filed away with the last version broadcast about five years ago.

A few airplane crashes are a movie story but most are not remembered in the same way.
